What is a Health Coach you ask?
I am more then just a Coach that will give you direction on what to eat and how much to eat. I am more then just the Coach that offers a great workout program that gets you the results you wanted or started your healthy life style journey.
I pick you up when you don’t think you can take one more step. I listen to you cry when you feel overwhelmed and then dry your tears and help you figure out your next step. I push you when you need it the most. But, even with tough love I still love. Love to see you succeed like I knew you could. I see the YOU that you can’t see yet but, you will.
I show you what is possible. I encourage you to do it. Everyday.
I am your biggest cheerleader and #1 fan. The struggle is real, I know because I have been where you are.
I help with your mind set. This part about not thinking you can go on and crying uncontrollably and not really knowing why or knowing why and still can’t stop. I will be there to hold your hand and guide you through this amazing journey. So, when you come out on the other side you will find yourself and your results. When you look back at the journey you will realize how incredibly strong you really are.
To me the mindset is how you perceive the world. It gives you the ability to do the workout or not. Eat the whole cake or just a slice. When you set your mind to getting the results, then you are unstoppable. Your determination kicks in and keeps you moving forward. The mindset can be positive or negative. It is how we talk and think about ourselves. To keep it positive we must work at it daily.
We all want that connection and that one person standing behind us cheering us on. It doesn’t matter where you are in your journey I can help you every step of the way to reach your goals.
So, when looking for a Health Coach here are a few things to consider.
CAN YOU CONNECT WITH THAT PERSON
This has got to be the most important thing you can consider. The person may have an AMAZING program but, if you two don’t vibe together and he/she doesn’t “get you” then you will be miserable, and I can pretty much guarantee that you will not get the results you want. Maybe, not at all. Ask questions, find out what kind of person and coach they are. What do they expect out of you? What do you expect out of them? Will you have contact with them after the sale? Make a list of a few important questions to ask them. It will make finding the right one easier and you will not be wasting your money. Check out their website and social media pages. This is a great way to see their personal life.
THEY OFFER A PROGRAM THAT YOU CAN DO NOW!!
You may really like a Coach and think he/she is awesome and you see them doing all this great stuff on Instagram and bla bla bla. If their program is too advanced or not challenging enough for you then you will be come frustrated or overwhelmed and you will shut the video off and never go back because you have had a bad experience. Totally don’t want this to happen. I want you to stick with the program and follow till the end. So, make sure you are capable RIGHT NOW to do the program. Don’t buy it and wait till you can do it. That kinda defeats the purpose, right?
HOW AVAILABLE ARE THEY?
Here is something else to consider. Are you the type of person that is going to need a lot of support? (Nothing wrong with that). A fitness program that is totally on video and you have no interaction with that person may not be as helpful as having someone that you can reach out to and receive support from. Some coaches just give you the program and you are on your own. Some people are cool with that but, are you one of those people? If not make sure you have contact with that coach.
NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BARGAIN HUNT!!
When looking for a health coach or any other coach or doctor do not go for the cheapest. The old saying “You get what you paid for” yeah, that’s what you will get. So, pay the money you are worth it. You deserve to have a live you LOVE. If that means paying a little more then so be it. You will get the results you want, and you will live a happy life knowing you got the education to change your life for the better. Can’t put a price tag on that.

Being healthy and sometimes hiring someone to help you do that is just what you need to get you on the right track. Pay the money. If you have tried diets, programs, everything else before and doing it on your own hasn’t worked then consider a Health Coach. They can show you tricks to keep you going and reach the goals you have been looking for.
