Sometimes we fall in to a rut. The same ol’same ol’.
We just keep doing the same thing expecting different results. At some point you must step back and look at the situation a little differently.
My best friend is a perfect example of this. She was losing the weight, she had a set routine and it was working!!! GO girl!!
Then after months of doing the same routine and losing weight each week she plateaus. Yep, the scale stopped moving and frustration set in.
Over the next few days she took a step back and looked at her workouts and eating habits. The eating was on point and the workouts were happening but, she didn’t feel challenged in the workouts anymore. She was feeling bored. So, she switched up her routine and made some changes. Now, her workouts are a variation. Cycle Bar, running, yoga and a little bit of weight lifting. Once she started the extra and DIFFERENT workouts then things started to shift for her. She was moving in the right direction again.
Consider stepping back and look at the situation from a different angle. It is perfectly fine to do things differently. We have that right to change our minds or do things different. Try new things.
This can apply to your life as well. If you are feeling stuck in your career or personal life and you keep doing the same thing but, nothing changes then it is time to step back and look at what needs to be done.
Once you look at it and figure out where you want to go then, take action that will get you to the new destination. You will be happier and will feel so much better once the ball is rolling again. It is ok to do things different. Do what works for YOU!!
