You know those people that are always going and doing? The ones you look at and say, “Damn I want what they have.” Or “I could never do what they do.”
Either way those people puzzle us and inspire us. They work hard every day. They have goals and they make sure to stick with them. What they have could be yours too, IF you set the goal and put the work in. You could have the same outcome.
Here are 3 simple tips to help you get moving forward with your shit.
They weren't born into this. Most worked hard, struggled hard, and kept fighting to have the life they wanted. Never giving up on the set goal. They made sure they did something each day to get them closer to the goal they had set. They envision it daily. They are consumed by it. The goal was all they thought about. They made sacrifices that most people wouldn't. They took chances that felt right in their gut. It isn't by luck that they came out on top. It is by planning and ACTING on the plan. Key word ACTING or “taking ACTION.”
We live in a world of fear. Meaning we are scared to make major moves or changes in our life. Changes that could get us to the life style we want to have. We are taught that working our fingers to the bone and being in debt up to our asses before we are 25 is the way it has too be done. It doesn’t have to be that way. Change is hard! No doubt about it. But, knowing it is the right move makes it a little easier. We all have a set path and it is our responsibility to follow that path. Even if it is a hobby we must share our gifts.
Here are 3 ways to make a shift in your mindset to get you started on a more positive path. It always starts with your mindset. Get that right and you will always move forward.
WAKE EACH DAY WITH A GRATEFUL HEART
It sounds cheesy but, when you are grateful for all that you have it makes it easier not to get sucked in to the negative thoughts that can pull you down into a deep dark hole. Do not focus on what you don’t have, be happy with what you do have. Know that you have the power to change your situation. Be grateful for what you have. Show gratitude each day. You may hate your job but, being grateful that you have a job may help make it a little easier till you take the steps you need to find another job or the career you love.
DISCOVER PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
This one is tricky for some people. Thinking of personal development, for some means there is something “wrong” with you. There is nothing wrong with you. Personal Development means you are improving on the amazing person you already are. You are becoming the person you were put on this earth to be. PD for short, is a staple in successful people’s lives. Every successful person you know that keeps growing and keeps getting better is reading PD on some level. These days it is easy to read or listen to PD. There are books and there are audio books and even podcasts that are informative and brings to light more helpful, smart people that can help you get through just about any struggle you may have. Growing each day is a must to become the person you want to be. So, take the time out of your busy schedule and make time to grow you!! Your future self will thank you. It will help bring you a balance and help you see situations differently so you can make the right decision for yourself. The most important information to get out of PD is that it is ok to love yourself first. That is when things really change for the better. It is a new perspective on situations.
PUSH YOURSELF EACH DAY
In order for you to keep moving forward and not get “stuck” with a situation you don’t want to be stuck in than, it is important for you to keep moving and keep pushing yourself to bigger and better things. Explore and find out what you can do for yourself to improve.
For example, if you are not happy with your currant weight (I will just use weight loss because it is what I know.) Then you have the power to push yourself to take a walk, go to the gym, or hire a Health Coach to help get you started on the right path to success for you.
Starting is hard but, keep pushing each day to become the person you want to be. Once you start, just keep going! Put your blinders on and just go. Make YOU the most important thing in your life. If you put you first, everything else will fall into place and everyone will be happy. Yes, everyone. Keep pushing and making yourself a better person. You only have you to compete with. Be better then you were yesterday.
So, take advice from the successful people you admire and are at awe about. Live the life you want and use these 3 simple steps to get out of your comfort zone and have an amazing life that you want. You have the power to do great things. Don’t stop being a better person.
