Have you ever had a day when nothing seemed to go right and all you wanted to do is go back to bed and start over?
Yeah, we all have those days. But, instead of keeping the bad attitude throughout the day, wouldn't you rather turn that frown upside down? Like, for real.
Here is what I am talking about. When we start out having a bad day then we already assume the rest of the day is going to be crappy too right? Of course, we all have said it “Oh boy this is going to be a bad day I can already tell” So, you just announced to the Universe you WANT to have a bad day. The Universe gives us what we ask for. Lol True story.
I am going to share with you some great tips to change that day. Even if it starts with you dropping your coffee cup and getting coffee all over you and the floor. You can come back from this, I promise. 😊
CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE
After you dump the coffee on the floor and yourself. Take a deep breathe. Tell yourself shit happens. Slow down. Laugh about it (find something funny in it).
It isn’t the end of the world and your day isn’t going to be ruined just because of this ONE incident. If you decided to make a different choice in your attitude. Changing that attitude is telling the Universe you want to start over and telling the world it will not beat you today!!
BE POSITIVE AND GRATEFUL
Be positive about how the rest of your day is going to go. Like, seriously try to find the good in the day to come. (Even on a Monday)
Think about things that make you smile or happy. Your puppy, your partner, your kids. There is always something you can think about to make you have a more positive attitude and remind yourself that life isn’t so horrible. Once you think of these people or things. Be grateful. Thank your Higher Power for putting these people or things in your life to make your life a better place.
These are habits you will have to work on A LOT!! It is much easier going to the negative place then to force ourselves to see the good. We are just programmed that way so, being positive is sometimes harder for us. But, not impossible. Try doing this each day. Be grateful and positive about SOMETHING OR SOMEONE each day! Watch the subtle shifts in your attitude change your whole day and how you see the world and the day. Small changes makes a BIG difference. Try it and see what happens.
